The SDF Team have a very high professional ethos and implement quality control procedures on all work. The company undertakes very diverse work to ensure a deep understanding of all levels of policy, programming, and practical day-to-day management. The examples of work undertaken have been shown by sector and most have an aspect of cross-sector integration. Small and large projects are given the same high level of service.

Sustainable Development Executive Director
Dorothy Lucks started her career in the U.K. running her own company, after completing a BSc in Biological Sciences. She undertook a post-graduate extension course in Entrepreneurial Development and operated as a small business development consultant in areas of high unemployment, conducting feasability studies for business expansion and re-direction in order to create employment opportunities.

She moved overseas to work for more than 10 years with international financing institutions in design and management of community development, natural resources sector and economic development programs and has implemented a range of programs in areas of civil conflict and economic stress. Tasks have included field research projects, design and management of sustainable development programs and assessment of ongoing programs. Having completed a Masters in Business Administration in 1996, she is now undertaking a PhD in Sustainable Development. She sits on the Board of Governors of Fairbridge Sustainable Village Inc and is involved in a range of community and industry organisations.

Organisational Management Project Officer
Maria Price has worked in organisational management in Western Australia for over fifteen years. She has worked with industry, community, academic and professional groups on a wide range of different projects so has a broad understanding of the organisational processes required to support complex projects. This has entailed industry research, research, data management and database design and usage.

Sustainable Development Project Officer
Lisa Woodward has knowledge and experience in social and environmental action research, sustainable development principles and policies, and current affairs. She has a Bachelor of Policy Studies (Development Studies), a Diploma of Education and a Bachelor of Arts. She has undertaken tasks in strategic research, developing policy submissions, funding applications and feasibility proposals, assisting with consultation processes and in non-formal education projects.

Financial Management
Denise has a strong history in financial management starting in 1977 through to 2002 working with a number of Legal firms in positions varying from all aspects of accounting, through to systems installation and debt collection. Her other roles in these firms included development of personnel management systems, preparation and development of business plans, development of client relationship programs, implementation of business improvement programs, partnership policies and process, workflow analysis, rewriting policies and procedures among many other tasks.

Administration
Diana Lilly has worked in the administration field for over fifteen years and has been supporting SDF projects since its inception. She is responsible for keeping projects to time, reproducing reports and for effective accountability on time sheets and costs.

Independent Technical Assistance
SDF contracts and manages suitable independent expertise as required to assist with specific projects but is careful to attract personnel who are aligned with the SDF Vision and Mission and who can produce work to the high professional standards and reputation of SDF. It operates the contracts in a team-based approach with frequent team meetings and a communication process that makes sure that integration between the team outputs is achieves. SDF have a strong affiliation with Peter Driscoll of Landvision Planning Consultancy and Liz Jack of Sustainable Tourism, having worked collaboratively on many joint projects. For indigenous projects, SDF partners with Kallip Inc and Wongatha Management.
