GP down south, a not for profit health organisation, piloted the Three Tier Youth Mental Health Program in the Peel Region in 2015. The program was designed to increase knowledge and coping strategies relating to specific mental health issues for students of nine secondary schools in the region. SDF Global conducted a process evaluation during implementation of the pilot program in 2015. This involved development of a program logic and evaluation framework, analysis of project data, and consultation with stakeholders to evaluate the outcomes achieved, assess the program's value for money, and identify operational improvements. The program logic and evaluation framework, as well as the evaluation recommendations have been used by GP down south in subsequent programs and as tools to advocate for funding of the program.
