SDF Global worked with the EMRC and key stakeholders in 2016 to develop the Regional Environment Strategy for 2016-2020. The EMRC is a regional local government entity that represents and works in partnership with its six Member Councils in Perth's Eastern Region. The RES provides a vision for environmental management and strategies for the delivery of environmental services in the region. The RES is innovative in its alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, focussing particularly on climate action, and sustainable cities and communities. The strategy was informed by a series of highly interactive stakeholder workshops which generated innovative ideas for embedding environmental considerations across Member Councils.
